I leave for Michigan tomorrow to spend a week with my boyfriend’s incredible family, at a house on a lake in the middle of nowhere. I could try to explain why this place is so awesome, but just watch this instead:

Picklebacks, A Birthday, Brunch and a Blackout
I turned 27 on Sunday.
Initially I had conceived a grand plan of brunch, followed by quick jaunt out on the water on Codzilla, then further drinks in Faneuil Hall to finish up our day.
However, I am in the process of moving and going on vacation as of tomorrow, so my life is somewhat in (very pretty) shambles. Our noon start-time was swiftly 1PM, and friends were planning to stop by, drop in, or...

June included a trip to Denver and LA for work (which may have included a corporate dodgeball game), a lot of New Puppy Time, and a lot of eating and drinking (including the annual Phantom Gourmet BBQ Beach Party and American Craft Beer Fest!)…but what else is new?
